Hello all!

Had an issue with the truck which the tech asked which grade fuel I used. I told him 93 he ask why and then gave me this speech on how I was wasting my money because all Cadillacâ€™s were designed to run on 87. SO, Iâ€™m asking you guys what fuel you all are running and is this true. The manual didnâ€™t really say. I know at sometimes some technicians are known to â€œblow smokeâ€ if you willâ€¦

What is your engine and what typr of driving do you do. You probably don't need 93. I don't know what year your truck is, but should have knock sensors.

Using less then 93 octane should cause no problems. Just think about it though. If it's 8 cents a gallon less you will be saving about a buck fifty a tank.
