Escalade cranking issue
Have a 2000 Escalade 4wheel drive with 5.7 Vortec 350...replaced the flex plate with 168 tooth and new starter DL9990-s.
No matter what I do it binds up, locks up and tears up the teeth. I have shimmed from 0.20 to 0.80 and 0.40 seemed to be the best, but still have the same problem. Any suggestions? Thoughts?
