When the headlights come on (either manual or automatic at dusk) the dash lights go out. Includes dash, driver info center and radio. Checked all fuses. Reviewed the wiring diagram, but cannot find the problem. Someone HELP please!

This may be as simple as adjusting the dash dimmer **** on your dashboard. Turn it up to it's brightest selection with your headlights on and see what happens. Please don't take offense to this simple instruction if you have already tried it.

 

Thanks, did that, in fact rebuilt the switch. Went thru the wiring diagrams and cannot find anything, no blown fuse anywhere, could be the body block relay, but don't know how to check or even find that.

Did anyone ever figure out a fix for this issue. I have a 2002 escalade & have the same problem, my dimmer switch is all the way up.
