Just changed oil in my 2001 Eldorado. Put in 7.5 quarts, but; My dipstick only reads about halfway down (or up, depending on your perspective) the hashmarks. Says I'm OK, but shouldn't I be getting a full reading with the right recommended amount of oil? Don't want to overfill the old girl, but I'm puzzled by this. Any ideas???
