I have a 94 eldorado touring. And it revs really bad when it's idle. When i push on the gas it will only go up to 20 mph. it won't shift untili get to 3000 rpm or higher and when it does shift it lurches forward. If there is anyone who might have an idea of what is wrong with my car please reply!!!!!!!

 

This sounds like your Fuel pump. I had similar situation with my Eldorado. If you can press heavy on the gas not so much flooring it and it accellerates slowly then fuel pump is probably the problem. Check or get a shop to check the fuel pump pressure.

If pressing heavy on the gas and the RPM's quickly jump to 3k rpm and vehicle lurches forward that could be transmission. Check your transmission oil fluid and make sure it's full.
