Does 99 ETC use key fob remote?
Hi,
I just bought a ‘99 ETC, and don’t know too much about them. I recently sold an ’01 Deville which used the familiar GM-Delphi remote key fob.
The ‘99 ETC came with one ignition key, one door key, and no remotes. It also didn’t come with an owner’s manual. The car has memory presets for Drivers 1 and 2.
My question is whether my car is compatible with the remote key fob I enjoyed with my Deville. If it does use those remotes, I see I can buy them cheaply on e-bay. Can someone tell me how to program a “foreign” remote to work with my car?
