Charging A/C. compressor reset

Charging A/C. compressor reset
1995 Eldorado. Dash reads "refrigerant low. Compressor off". I bought some R134a. How do I get the compressor to come on so I can refill the system? Do I just reset the codes, or saw somewhere that said to use a jumper on the low pressure switch? If that is so, where is it and how do you do it?

Should explain on the under hood decal. If not, erase codes and recharge. I presume you have gauges to do this properly. The message can come on if its down as little as a 1/4 LB. And wheres the leak?? unless you want to do this job twice.

RE: Charging A/C. compressor reset
My guess is the leak is small. Compressor was serviced 8 years ago so still on charge from then. Have the proper guages. figured I would use the refrigerant that has "stop leak" in it to get it by for awhile. Probably won't own the car too much longer so want to get by. But my guess is even if I clear the codes, the second I turn on the AC the sensor will signal the computer to shut it down before I get time to get the refrigerant in it. So there probably is a need to bypass the sensor.
