A/C recharge
#4
most code readers only deal with engine, some also do abs. If you use HVAC control panel and press off and pass warmer buttons at the same time codes should come up on DIC. A/C codes are ACM. Fan speed control is up = yes down = no. set all codes cycle through write them down if you like. When it stops a PCM? - no until ACM comes up. Then press Hi. "Clear codes" should come up next; Hi again. The codes a/c codes should be cleared. Disconnecting battery will clear most codes in car but not all.

Yes, you have to disconnect the battery....hook your new can up to the low pressure side...when you connect your battery have someone start it and push the Air button on the dash immediately and try putting the charge in the line....if it doesnt take you have to disconnect the battery again....I have my can ready to go....my friends starts the car and hits the Auto for Air Cond and I start the pressure can....if can gets cold it is taking it.....guess they want you to go to the dealer.......
