another good suggestion is turn off the blower in the cabin when it's below zero and allow yourwater temp toheat up a bit before turning it on. It's just a guess but my intuition says they don't like running full power when they're very cold.

Cadillacs do that automatically!! Assuming the auto mode is used, the fan delays till approx 150 F coolant temp, then turns on to warm the car. There is no delay when the interior is warm like in the summer.

thank you,i replaced the blower module and now the fan runs great,the fan sounds good but the air flow is very weak,back blower the air flow is great,but i put the front to defrost and i can barely feel the air flow.both heater core lines feel hot,and i removed the glove box everything seems good under there,i dont get any air flow at all from the vents but i get a little from the defrost cycle,hope you can help its cold here in canada

I had a NICE triple black roadster (sim con) eldorado , sunroof , vogue kit ,undoubtedly one of the sharpest cadillacs I have had ,and I have had over 60 in my lifetime,BUTthat norstar ,which was an excellent performer ,leaks,starters that are under the intake etc. THE FINAL STRAW was the BLOWER MOTOR you guys talk about!!!!!!the parts are CRAZY $$$$,s my 79 biarritz blower went bad last summer 29.99- I put it in myself!!!

i just replaced the heater motor and the blower module in my 1992 eldorado,the blower is now workin fine but i have very little air flow on defrost and no air flow through the vents,does anyone know what may be causing this,please help freezing in canada
