another good suggestion is turn off the blower in the cabin when it's below zero and allow yourwater temp toheat up a bit before turning it on. It's just a guess but my intuition says they don't like running full power when they're very cold.

Cadillacs do that automatically!! Assuming the auto mode is used, the fan delays till approx 150 F coolant temp, then turns on to warm the car. There is no delay when the interior is warm like in the summer.

Under hood towards passenger side, sometimes under a black plastic cover. 2 wiring connectors to it.

I had a NICE triple black roadster (sim con) eldorado , sunroof , vogue kit ,undoubtedly one of the sharpest cadillacs I have had ,and I have had over 60 in my lifetime,BUTthat norstar ,which was an excellent performer ,leaks, starters that are under the intake etc. THE FINAL STRAW was the BLOWER MOTOR you guys talk about!!!!!!the parts are CRAZY $$$$,s my 79 biarritz blower went bad last summer 29.99- I put it in myself!!!

Vacuum leak, programmer, or actuator. Where will out when commanded?
