Default 1974 Eldorado - valve failure

Hi,

I guess this is very rare, but s..t happens.

I got a 1974 Eldorado convertible. One of the intake valves spring broke, and the valve fell into the cylinder, damaging the piston.

Fortunately the cylinder wall looks ok, so basically i'm looking for piston, rings, intake valve and valve spring.

two questions:

1. I spent hours in the net and couldn't find intake valve for 1974 Eldorado. Can anyone refer me to a source?
2. I found the piston in several places (like RockAuto), but they specify that the piston diameter is 2.5", while measuring it gives 4". What do i miss here?

Thanks, Dror.

your car has the 500 ci ?

something is wrong.. a 427 has a 4.25 inch dia bore, so the 500 has to be a bit larger, I seem to remember 4.7" Dia .. but my memory can trick me.
