Default Headlights

I have a 2006 DTS. The right headlight comes on when I first start the car but after a few minutes it flickers and goes out. Sometimes it stays out or will come back on if I hit a bump. Sometimes it stays out until I stop the car and then on the next start it will always come back on and go through the same process. If the light comes on when I start, it would seem the bulb is okay unless it is a heat problem. Is there a power supply that could be bad rather than the bulb? How would I know for sure what is wrong?

@bradf, I have read your post about your situation with your headlights on your Cadillac DTS. I completely understand how frustrating this can be to try to figure out what is going on with it. How are things going?

An avenue that you could possibly take advantage of is, contacting your local Cadillac dealership's service department to see if they could give you some ideas of what might going on.
