2007 DTS
My neighbors vehicle.
The drivers headlight is out.
I changed it and that made no difference.
I checked the fuses under the hood they checked ok, any other fuses anywhere?

What should I look for???

Not only is the bulb a long tube, but under the light enclosure is a ballas that fails. The same ballas is used in Buick and Volvo. The dealership will charge you over 300 for a new one. Shop around and you can find them for under 50 bucks. If you have water in your ballas, you need a new headlight unit. Sometimes you can find a junkyard one complete with bulbs and ballas. I got my best prices on Ebay.

 

Changed the ballast, had water intrusion.
