Default Been away for awhile

I have been an infrequent visitor lately but I checked in tonight and thought I would update with my newest acquisition. It's a DTS Performance and is it ever sweet.

Thanks for the welcome Stealth, yes indeed long winter, nice to say hello. Happy Independence Day, I just got in from my Rotary Club's Canada Day Ribfest BBQ, super nice July 1st and we raised over $10,000 for Charity.

Thanks, the cars are good but you have to take care of them as well. Here is my stable of three. The Fleetwood is amazing for a 1993, runs like a top, floats like a cloud. The 98 Deville is a little long in the tooth now so it has been retired from daily use, 225,000 km on the clock.
DTS is the car of choice these days although I may not use it in the winter, haven't decide yet but leaning to no.

Default Said goodbye to old friend

Well today I sold the 98 Deville. I loved that car but its time had come. It had 225,000 km on the clock and it was starting to run hot. I know someone who does all of GM Canada's warranty work on Northstars and he said he would pull the engine and repair the head gaskets for $2700. Tony gets engines shipped to him to repair then he sends them back to the dealers right across Canada. I decided in a 14 year old car that the $2700 was better spent on my new DTS even though I trust Tony 100%. I was straight up with the buyer and he is retired and is looking at the car as a project.

If you need engine work on your Northstar Tony is the guy. Here is his website:
