Hello, I recently purchased a 2001 Deville and would like to modify the stereo system. I am having trouble locating the factory amplifiers. Please help.

 

2001 Deville has a factory BOSE, and BOSE AMPS are in the speaker enclosures, one AMP for each speaker.

i believe that applies to any GM-BOSE system.

 

That is what I was thinking, this is how the corvette is,but the stock stereo doesnt say bose on it any where only delco. I removed the front passanger side speaker from the door yesterday to look for the amp but all there was is a speaker. I also took a look at the stock sub speaker and again no amp. Any more help?

 

yours has no BOSE system?
