Hey any one have any reccomendations on how to mend / repair a vynle top ,

i want mostly to just stop the cracking which is fairly severe, multiple cracks in the vynle about 3-8 inches long and a 1/4 inch wide.

its an 1982 so i guess im lucky its only this bad.

dont want to break my already poor bank either , otherwise id replace it .

any information is greatly appreciated

Not whole lot of options: Replace it, sometimes a new top can be put over old one, talk to installer about your car. Strip old one off, repair roof as necessary, and paint it.Then install new top when you can.

if you dont have the $150, get a can of spray glue, attach a bed sheet, trim, duct tape the edges and roller paint over it.

that will get you through the season.
