Hello I'm new never even though I have owned this car for 13 years it was passed down to me from my deceased father

And I got a few questions about a badge on the back of this car and have been trying to find the history behind it on the passenger side of the trunk lid next to the cadillac badge it has a different badge that says roach.now I have had alot of people saying wow it's a roach deville. But I cannot seem to find any info as to what this badge means or stands for now my question is does any one happen to have any info on the roach badge and it's meaning?

 

selling dealer. Some dealers made a script name plate to match factory style name plate. They would put with the factory emblem so it said Hometown Cadillac or gmc or Ford. Some truck dealers would have there emblem anywhere a factory emblem was to make sure a passer-by knew where to buy one.
