Default Questions about my 1997 Cadillac Deville

Hey there:

I recently got a 1997 cadillac deville. I have 2 sets of keys for this car, but only one remote to unlock/lock doors and open trunk/gas cap. The car does have an alarm system in it. I would like to know the alarm would go off if one were to lock the doors with the remote, but then unlock them with the key? Also, when the warm weather comes, I would like to know if I can run just vent air only and not have it be heat/ac? Also, the driver's seat heater does not work. The little light lights up saying it's on, but the seat dosen't get hot. Passenger one works great. Seats are leather. Car has almost 140,000 miles on it as well.

Alarm is turned on with P/Lock switch or remote, not key. Econ or A/C button will turn compressor on or depending on cluster.

So if I unlock the car with the key after locking it with the remote, the alarm shouldn't go off? If the alarm should go off, how do you disable it?

Using key should disable alarm, it just won't enable it.
