Default Need a little help.

Hello, i'm new to these forums & also cadillacs in general. I recently purchased an 2002 Deville. And in the dash, the "ABS" light is illuminated. In the dash it reads "Check System Stability" can anyone help me out with what all of this means? Also the "Traction Control" light is illuminated

Check for codes. Code may relate to all 3 warnings. ABS and Traction Control are normally related.

How do I go about checking the codes? Sorry. Im new to all of this. But just off the top of your head without knowing the codes, and jus by going off the warning lights. Do you think this is going to be a costly repair?
