Default Interesting electrical experience last night.

I have a 2002 Deville DTS. As I drove to my son’s daycare yesterday, about a 25 min ride from my work. My radio (navi) went dark, and then I noticed I had a battery light, ABS light and an Airbag light, lite on the dash and gas gauge not working. I also had a service ride control message on my display. I also could not open my windows, listen to radio, get ac to work, no memory on seat, no heat on seat, no chime when key was in ignition, also power locks did not work, not from FOB or inside car, or engaging when car is put in drive. Could not even get key out of the ignition. When I scrolled through the DIC, it said, phone said off, no tire pressures reading, no battery voltage but said battery ok. Now the car continued to run other wise. I had wipers, directionals, headlights and I think brake light and tail lights, because I did not get rear ended! Did I mention it was raining like a MF? I drove the car home, as it sat in my driveway the last thing I tried was to press the trunk release and the gas door release. They did not open. I went in the house pissed off! Car sat for about 2 hr and my daughter ask me why my trunk was open. I went outside to close and look @ car. Trunk was open and gas door was open. Closed them and opened drivers door and chime came on. Check memory setting and they worked fine. Turn key and car fire up without and issues, no light, radio worked and no messages on my DIC. As it if never had any issues! Drove it to work today with out chirp or a burp.

I have a 2007 DTS and I can't get the reading lamps in front or back to turn off with the button. After I start the car and drive they still stay on. Once I stop and turn the ignition off theystay onfor about 20 minutes. Any suggestions would be appreciated because I don't won't to waste time going to the dealer.

wow .. a ghost thread from the past ...

advice #1 .. dont drive it at night.
advice #2 .. read the e-ghost thread on our FAQ section

if the lights come on EVERY time, I be looking into the bcm module & the security system module.
