Default I TURN THE KEY AND GET NOTHING

I have a 99 deville with 86K .It hadn't been started in a few week so I when to start it and the battery was low so I jump it and it fired right up then took it around the block and got back turn it off and it would not turn over again,Put the changer on it for 12 hours and now .....turn the key and get nothing no click no nothing. Battery up and holding change, cleaned the cables and all connection I could find ,tried spare key wiggling up & down try it in neutral .Its not throwing a code, disconnected aftermarket stereo and I was just about to jump the started when the rains came. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it Thanks

You have done pretty much what I would have suggested. I still think you have a bad ground though.

Are you sure the battery charged? Did you test it after you charged it?

Starter is under intake manifold. There is a connector at front of rear valve cover, you could check for voltage there before pulling manifold. If pulling manifold check condition of rubber boot at front intake before re-installing, they tend to develope a hole which will lead to SES light and idle concerns.

After all of that it was the starter, the solenoid must have been sticking ,once I got it out and tested it, it worked ,put it back in and it turned over. I put in a new one in anyways seeing what you have to do to get to it THANKS TO ALL!
