DHS 22X8.5 245 30 22, SCRUB!!!
I'm new here!
I had 20X8.5's in the front, and 20X9.5's in the rear with 245 35 20's all the way around on my 2002 DeVille DHS. The rear passenger side scrubbed a little with weight from the 9.5's of course, but now that I sold those and went with 22X8.5's all the way around, with a 245 30 22 tire.
The rear still scrubs a little, and I'm thinking about grinding down the inside of the rear fender's to stop this problem. Is this common...? As for the front, turning radius has gone to crap now. Should I remove the plastic inside fender cover completely, or just grind part of it off...? Hope you guy's can help, thanks!

Yikes Tim, thats an awfull nice car to be grinding things and ripping parts off. Personally I would leave the car alone and go with tires/rims that fit, it might look really sharp with your present setup but you will trash the resale value of the car if you start hacking it up. Not to mention no fender wells would really make a mess up front. Thats just my humble opinion, to each his own.

don't grind anything off, i know rims with tires like that fit. you might just have to get it raise or get an air cylinder kit to help them not rub and help keep the factory ride smooth.

if they dont scrub in the front when you turn you're fine, you just need to raise the back an inch or two and that way they wont scrub at all unless if you have the back packed and you're driving over bumps
