Default DeVille vs. Seville

I posted a similar question in the Seville forums but I wanted to ask here also.

We have always had Lincols but are thinking about trying a Cadillac this time. If we have been used to a Town Car do you think we would be happy with the ride of a Seville, either a STS or a SLS or should we try the DeVille, all of these would be around a 2001 or 2002?

Is there anything special we should look out for when buying a used Cadillac with 45,000 miles or less on it?

Thanks
