Service Vehicle Soon warning light has come on intermittently a couple times over the last few days. I pulled codes E52 – PCM Memory Reset and E91 – PRNDL Switch Problem (Transaxle Range Switch Problem). I’ve noticed no performance or drivability problems and the car seems fine. My first question is just what is “PCM Memory Reset” and is it something I need to be concerned about? My second question is this E91 code seems to be present whenever I pull codes. Again, no apparent problems driving. What does this code mean?
I should mention that the battery was pulled for a few hours when I had the timing cover gasket replaced last week.
As always, any insights appreciated.
