Default Buttons and switch lights-Repair\Replace?

I have 2001 DeVille. Lights under buttons and switches are starting to burn-out, one at a time. I thought these would be fiber-optic to common light source, but evidently not. Now have lights out under one seat heater button and the INFO button. How are these accessed and replaced, pry the button off or remove panel?
Thanks.

I wouldn't pry on anything, you can most likely access the lights through the back of the panel. Check your fuses, its weird to blow all those lights almost at the same time.

Thanks for the reply Misfit. Not all of the lights are out, just a fewof the buttons. Just lost another, the one behind the display "eng\metric" button. I expect there are littlebulbs behind the buttons or integrated with the buttons. I just don't know the best way to get to them. The buttons are clustered in small panels that are inset in the larger dash. I'm going to try removing one of those small insets and see what happens.

Not sure fuses are the problem... That would mean that the device itself would not work. Plus, a unit with three buttons, like the one to the right or left of the instrument pannel, having one of two dead bulbs is simply an indication that the bulbs are shot. I have the same issue with my 2002 Deville. Some of my lights are burning out on random buttons, some I rarely even use. They are a very small diode-sized bulb with two little connectors. I know they were replaceable on an Oldsmobile Eighty Eight I had, but I'm fearing that these are closed units on the Cadillac. That is, you cannot access them.

I can imagine the dealership can get these little bulbs, if they are replaceable. So I will report back on how that goes over. I can certianly understand wanting to change them, it's very annoying when they are lit or not lit spratically.
