Default 96 deville

wierd, so i turn off my ignition and put in accessory mode to listen to my system, then quickly switch it up and take the keys out and it keeps on playing WITHOUT any keys....... stuck in accessory mode without my keys in the ignition, but i put them back in and then switch it off slowly and it works fine,is this bad?!

it's probably some sort of glitch, if it doenst do it again it should be fine.

naw dude, i know wat u mean, but it jus sticks on accessory EVEN when i open my door then close it and go listen from the house with my keys in my hand lol

oh well u shoulda said that, lol, does your interior lights and crap come on when u open the door? and does it only do it when u use the accessory spot on your ignition?

no they didnt come on lol and yea jus in the accessory spot

hmm, id place money on one of two things them, either A your ignition is messed up, or B your door switch is messed up

advance auto parts carries the ignition switch for 55 bucks

That is normal on my Caddy.

you can actually turn the ingnition to off w/o the key. WHY?
one's kid can stay in the car listening to the stereo w/o keys to get in trouble.

It doesnt turn off when the door is open as long as the ignition is set to ACC.
