Default 95 Won't stay running at low RPM/IDLE

Hey, my 1995 won't stay running sometimes when it is idleing. Sometimes it runs fine, others it dies right away. Would pulling the battery wire off for a little while and hooking it back up allow it to relearn everything or does it constantly adjust? Like.... does the computer stay set once it learns everything after you hook the battery, or does it always adjust even after the batterys been hooked up for months.

check ISC motor for proper operation....there is a learn procedure for this..unhooking the battery will solve nothing...also could be a faulty ECM
