Hi all !

I have a 93 Deville with 88k miles. The problem started acouple of days ago. The dispay for the ac/climate control and fuel gauge/fuel data center shows a lower case "d" , the blower stays on withot the compressor kicking in, can't use any of the buttons and when the ignition is turned off everything goes off.....normally everythig stays on until you open the door. The "service engine soon" , "service vehicle soon" and "service A/C soon" lights stay on. A few occasions everything at once changed back to normal while driving .....service lights went out, climate control /fuel data back to normal and compressor came on. I've checked fuses and maxi fuses and took it to the dealership. Any ideas ?

 

dont have such a manual, but i seen many on the front of the inner fender or
by the headlight - compressor side.

Problem solved.....PCM bad

 

FINALLY I HAVE A ANSWER!!!! MY 93 D IS DOING THE SAME THING EXCEPT MY CLIMATE CONTROL SECTION HAS A SMALL ..c... not ..d..... YOU SAID YOU CHANGED THE PCM???OR BCM ??? PLEASE HELP..THANK YOU!!!

Me best recollection is under the instrument panel on the passenger side If you are a do it yourselfer you should invest in a FSM. They can be found on e-bay pretty cheap.

Hey TV: When you say all the service manuals do you mean Chilton or Haynes manuals?? Best go to www.autorepairmanuals.biz and order up one of the original dealer service manuals and you will have all the original factory specs and the schematics for your ride. Good luck.
