Hey Tigger: Can you tell me if your cruise is working?? The dash cluster is in with the cruise circuit and it should be fuse 8 and be 3amp. You could also check where the wire goes into the body computer module, it will be a tan wire that goes straight to the cluster. Let us know how you make out...................................

brougham1 Thanx for your fast response. As far as the cruise working or not the previous owner said yes, I have not had the car on the road to test it, no insurance yet. Fuse #8 3 amp is good and has power. It also looks like someone has been in to the steer columnwire harness due to the amount of elec. tape. Is there a site where I can download a wiring diagram? Thanx again Tigger

HeyTigger: Any sites that I know of for downloading schematics cost money. You could purchase the Chilton repair manual #28260 for the model years 1967-1989. Will cost you about $20.00. They have the schematics and a lot of trouble shooting help on a whole range of things. Good luck....................................

Hey Brougham1 thanx again for the info. On the dash cluster: after talking to a service writer at the caddy dealership I have the dash cluster working. The circuit runs through the heater controlfirst than the dash cluster. After unplugging the heater controlthe dash cluster worked. This is a common problem with this unit.Heater control is a two day repair here. Hope this useful to you in the future. I also see you are in Vernon B.C. in about a month I will back in Kelowna to live. I have a brother in Vernon, one day when I go to see him I will let you know and may be we can meet. Once again thanx for your help. Trigger

Does anyone know where I can get a used or new heater, engine management unit for my 1978 Sivelle. Iam in Alberta Canada Edmonton. The best I can do is send mine to Calgary for repair at a cost of 400.00 big ones or new replacement cost unknown at this time. Thanx tigger

Hey Tig: Go to www.usapartssupply.com I have ordered quite a few things from them and was happy. And he beauty of it is they have all OEM parts which is important if you plan on keeping your car original. Good luck.
