Hi, I'm new to this forum


I am trying to find a place that sells head bolts for a 4.9L V8 (93 Deville). Does anyone know where I can get them?


Lots of rebuilt kits on the market covering everything else, but I've spent days trying to find head bolts with no success.


Also...just want to confirm...timeserts are required for all head bolt threads...correct?

 

I have a misfire code and they are saying that it has a number of head problems in the car. I changed the starter and the car started running like it had a little bad spark plugs so I changed them out, replaced some vacuum lines and put some seals on the injectors. I still smell gas like it's not burning properly it's loud smelling.
