Mine started rattling, I knew it was blown so i popped the trunk and yanked the wires out to stop the noise. I assumed i could just buy a any 10" sub and pop it in.
Number 1, what do i need to replace it with? Why does not just any sub work?
Number 2, How the @#$! do you get to the @$#! thing to replace it? It appears you have to remove the rear deck?

 

Yes you do have to remove the rear deck. You need an open air sub to replace it. most subwoofers require an enclosure.
