Engine misfire 300 code is bad spark pulgs and possible wires. If you have changed the pulgs and the car still misfires replace the spark pulg wires and while you are at it, a good idea would be to replace the coils as well. The OHM value of the coils can and will affect the flow of power during starting of the car.

Hi,
BORDERLINE, Good luck to you, because this is very fustrating. We decided not to install the new fuel injector we picked up.After lookingat the plug that was not fireing yesterday with the "bad" injector, andswitched with another injector, the plug still looked new. We now have a coil on order for pick up in the morning.
97DEVILLE, nospark wires on this model, just on the injectors.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions. Been doing alot of readingthis week, this is the most helpful place so far.

Hi All,

IT WAS THE COIL!!! She's running nice and smooth, hallelujah! The cheapest coil that we found was at Car Quest, a Dephi, same as stocked, witha total with tax $219. (Cadi dealer, $340.)
Thanks for all your help!!!!!!!! Very much appreciated! !

Excellent at least a bit easier to change. Can you actually believe it that the colour is just for appearance and to save a few cents the rears are black, same in the cars with wires, rear valve covers are black, fronts are nice and shinny.

Makes a big difference in driving the car. knowing you have all of those 300 Horses readyto pull!

HUGE diffrence!! I'm not sure if others noticed while I was sitting at a light, but, I felt the whole car rocking back and forth! It was like I had a cam without the noise! I tried to time it just right at the lights with a slow roll so I wouldn't have to make a complete stop. Kids laughing in the back seatat our"lame" car. They'de sit there and rock themselves back and forth to make it seem EVEN worse. Sorta embarrassing! I am SO happy that it's fixed.

THANKS!!!!
