RE: 20" rims on an 01 deville?
The answer is yes. I have 20" s on my DTS. If you have a DeVille without the Sport tuned suspension you can actually fit 22" rims on it. However the manufacturer suggests no more that a plus two size on any vehicle. You start at a 17", that would put you at a 19" which would be very costly and not nearly as pretty as these 20" beauties. Just be cautious on the amount of rubber you want to roll on. I am very careful around railroad tracks and pot holes. Slow roll that bad boy and you'll be breakin necks too.
Check out all of your options at www.miata.net or google "tire size calculator"
I tried to attach a pic but it says "file too large". I've got some work to do to get a picture up.

Here's a good tire size calculator to compare tire sizes. Compare some common 20" tire sizes and see if anything is close.
