Hi,
Are there metal clips on the headlights that retain the lens to the headlight body? I don't trust the adhesive alone to retain the lens. I removed them to do a complete cleaning and polishing inside and out of the lenses. I know that some models have the clips. Mine don't but they may have been removed by a previous owner. I will be using butyl strip adhesive to hold them.

If someone has installed new clips what was the source?

Found it. I had them in a box of miscellaneous head light parts. There are two on each light. They are hidden by the rubber gasket that covers the top of the light.

 

1999 Cadillac Seville SLS Headlights will not move toward when headlights button is on. Tale lights come on but no headlights any suggestions?
