Default 1990 deville stereo

I just bought a 1990 sedan deville today, i love it but its time to customize it, im extremely familiar and advanced with car stereo but i had a problem a while back with an 85 brougham when the alternator blew from a 800 watt amp, i have a few questions about the 90 deville, i dont want ANY problems to happen.
-anyone ever run into or hear of any problems with a head unit install on a deville, i understand its basic 3 bolts and a mounting ring[and the wiring of course] but anyone ever have trouble with the power or ground, i ran into another problem with EVERY pontiac ive done where the red/ignition wire doesnt plug into the factory adaptor and i had to wire it to a hot lead on the car...
-will i blow the alternator or have any trouble with two 400 watt rms 1000 watt max amps going to 2 alpine type R's, will i need an optima battery or capacitors?
-how can i remount my battery to the trunk?
everything will be cleanly intsalled, grounded correctly and with 4 gauge cables, any help is appreciated, thanks.
