Default 1990 Deville digital dash lost power

In my 1990 Cadillac Sedan DeVille all of a sudden the dash power went off. All digital displays are off even for the fuel centre and climate control. When I start the car I can see the displays come on very faintly and they completely die out. What could be wrong?

Thanks.

Please post if you find out the problem. I have the same car, but do not currenly have the problem. Mine has over 200,000 miles on it and so if the dash does go out I would like to know what could be the problem!

I have also successfuly converted to r134a (figuring out the "thermister" ac system was a trip, but very rewarding.. so far 45F at the vent with some tweeking left to do (I think I can get her down to 40F). I will make a post when I get completely done.

Had the same problem on the 93, turned out to be the BCM. Also had a weird problem with the transmission stuck in first, that turned out to be a bad PCM.
