01 Deville - Bad Rear Wheel Speed Sensor
DTC Code: C1235 - Right Rear Wheel Speed Circuit Open or Shorted
In researching my problem, I have read in 2 different forums that the whole wheel bearing hub assembly ($112.79 ) has to be replaced. In another, I have read that the sensor itself can be replaced and is available from RockAuto (AIRTEX Part # 5S4644 - $34.79).Can someone tell me definitivelywhich is correct. Could this just be a bad connection?

RE: 01 Deville - Bad Rear Wheel Speed Sensor
The code tells you to check the harness for being unplugged ( open) or rubbed thru on a suspension component ( shorted) Would have more clues if you had just pulled the wheel and checked the harness to the sensor prior to posting. Right rear is passenger side rear.
