Default Stabilitrak service

Hi, I have been reading posts here for over a year and fortunately I have had a great experience wit my '03 CTS! But..... I was driving a long distance today and my car has about 89500 miles on it when the computer showed "Service stabilitrak soon" prs clr to continue. No engine light or anything else had happened for the next 150+ miles I drove. This due to the mileage comming close to 90k? or Do you think theres a problem with the stabilitrak that needs addressed? Anyone had this same problem? If so what did you do? ty in advance

According to the manual:

The Driver Information Center (DIC) showing the car with the hood up should also be displayed.

"If the Service Stability Sys message comes on while you are driving pull off the road as soon as possible and stop carefully. Try resetting the system by turning the ignition off, then back on. If the Service Stability Sys message still stays on or comes back on again while you are driving, your vehicle needs service. Have the Stabilitrak system inspected as soon as possible."

any number of things can cause that to come on....i suggest taking it to a dealer and having it checked for codes to see what caused it to come on.
