Default Seat Heater Question

Hi CTS Owners, I'm new to this forum. I have ~1000 miles on my new CTS Sport Wagon, Performance Series. I love it, but more about that later.

The passenger seat back and bottom do not heat equally, (86 degrees back/82 bottom). And this seat heats very slow compared to the drivers. GM tells the dealer it's because the airbag sensor membrane is on top of the heater coil which causes this situation. At this point they're saying there's nothing wrong. I cannot believe this problem would have been overlooked all these model years. Can anyone share with me their experience with the passenger side seat heater. I.e is there a differnetial back/bottom? Does it heat slower than the drivers side? How long to warm up compared to the drivers, etc.? Many thanks for any comments you can provide. Dusty
