Just purchased a 2005 cts with factory navigation, but no disc in the vehicle. Never owning a vehicle with nav i have questions. will a replacement disc be for a certain area or are they good for North America. Since I have to purchase a disc, will the new disc be updated from 2005? Any suggestions as to ordering a GM disc or another mfg. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You will need GM disc, it does come " up to date". Disc may also have software updates for radio.

Do you happen to have a part number, or the year of the disc? If so, I'll try to find one on the internet.
