Hi, my name is Quik and I'm from Quebec, Canada. I don't speak english very well but I have no problem to understand. I owned a CTS 2003 3.2l with manual tranny.

I wan't to know is it possible to swap my 3.2l for a 3.6l 2004. The reason : my 3.2l is dead, badluck...

If it's possible I have to know somethings:

-The motors mounts are the sames?
-Sensors are the sames?
-ECU, Intake,..?
-My 3.2l tranny fits?

Tell me everyting I have to know about the swap. Thank you!

And another one question : The 2003 and 2004 3.2l. it's the same engine?

 

Anything is possible if you throw enough $$$$ and time at it. 3.6 and 3.2 systems are very different. It would require a complete doner car. It will be more practical to get different car.
