Hi everybody, I've got an "03" CTS and I've hit the 100K mark. My engine has just started shutting off after driving 10-15 minutes. I took it to the shop and replaced the timing belt (it was time to do that anyway) the fuel filter and thethermostat. I thought that would alleviate the problem, but no such luck. After she shuts off, she has to sit for 20-30 minutes before she will let me start her up again. Has anyone seen this problem before?

 

Hey Alb: Have hear of this problem being caused by faulty crankshaft sensors. Pull the codes from your computer and see what comes up. That might be the best place to start.Good luck.
