Newby to this forum. I have a 2014 CTS AWD Premium w/3.6L V6. Problem I'm having is Michigans' TOTALLY screwed up roads. Hit a HUGE pothole yesterday, and now there's a lot of clanking/rattling coming from drivers front end. Put it on a lift and see oil all over the strut. I believe this is the "Magnetic Ride" (FE2?) suspension. It has a button on console that has 3 settings; Tour, Sport, and Ice/Snow. Anyway, the Stealership wants almost $700.00 for a front strut!!! Anyone know of a quality replacement for a tad less? Please help!!!!

How about simulators, that "fool" the pcm/bcm into thinking the original electronic/magnetic fluid struts/shocks are still in place? I know they make these for the C5 Corvette. Any help here would sure be appreciated. Thank you.
