Hi Gang,
Just officially joined in on the Caddy Forum. I have a 2001 STS and got the wife to trade-in her Audi A6 for 08 CTS 4 (fully loaded/Thunder Gray ). Yes, the car was supposed to have the wood steering wheel and gear ****. Here’s the deal; Caddy has a problem with the suppler for the wood accented steering wheel and gearshift. Caddy takes off $155 without it or in our case we paid the $155 and hope to be retro fitted in 6-10 weeks. This is a heck of a car... Bebers are slowing down to take a look. Caddy has a winner with the 08 CTS!

rblimas,
You (and many others) must like the look of those 22s, but have you thought about the negative effect on vehicle dynamics? That's rotating, unsprung mass you add when you swap out your 17/18s for thosemonster wheels, probably 15-20# added per corner. Think that doesn't hurt accel/cornering/decel? Look on the 300/Charger forums and read the comments of those who have gone for the big wheels. They love the look, but bemoan the sluggish feeling the car now has. At least you could go for a forged whell construction without chrome, to minimize the added mass.
