06 CTS brake light

06 CTS brake light

I have a 06 CTS with a brake light out. The bulb works as it illuminates during other functions but not when the brake is applied. Any suggestions? I checked the wiring for loose connections.

Slowroll correct me if I’m wrong but I think that the brake light is two stage light one for regular illuminates and the other for brake.

In conclusion change the bulb
