Default 03' CTS Dash Cluster question

Hey gang!

1) I have a base 03' CTS with a dash cluster w/clock, speedo, tach and fuel gauge. For some reason or other, the clock is now 6 minutes slower than the radio clock, and will not synch with the radio, no matter the changes I make in the setup menu.

2) Also curious to know if it's possible to do away with the clock cluster and get a cluster for the 03's that has a temp gauge in place of the clock?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately only one type cluster. Clock not sync.ing not worth messing with. I think it was why Cadillac removed analog clock from cluster.

I have found that the analog clock and the Nav console getting out of sync can be resolved by rebooting the whole car (and other odd electrical stuff goes away, too)...

Disconnect the + and - leads from the battery. Touch the leads together to fully discharge the electrical system. Reconnect the + and - leads to the correct battery terminals. Reset the clock (and everything else that needs resetting).

I don't know if it will work for you but it worked for me - fixed my clock not behaving, fixed the power windows (driver window button controlling passenger side windows; passenger side window buttons have no control over anything)...

I learned by watching the dealer do it when the power windows wigged out.
