I have a problem, for some reason my headlights and front parking lights do not turn on but my rear lights come on. Dont know if there is some fuse relay for it or not. Also my dash lights do not come on either because a plug got disconnected and now i cant find the plug. And my opera lights dont come on either[sm=boohoo.gif]. Help me asap

Hey Texas: Start simple by checking all of your ground wires. Headlites are usually hot at all times so grounds are generally the cause of failure. If you have guidematis feature then it could be the guidematic power relay. Light switch could be faulty, there is a circuit breaker in the lite switch as well. As for the instrument panel, I assume you have checked the I/P fuse, again check grounds,grounds are all generally black,and lighting hot leads are grey wires. Have you checked the dimmer feature on the light switch?? Could also be the instument cluster printed circuit. Opera lites are run by an inverter that is located in the left front corner of trunk on a support brace, check for 12 v at inverter terminal 4, check for 110 v at inverter term. 2. Check ground to brace also. Happy hunting, caddies are fun aren't they!.

 

well thanks 4 the advice and on the dash lights. there is a plug that connects with the light switch, the colors r green and gray. its controls the light on the instrument panel when the sentinial lights come on.

 

Hope you have your lights figured out, the green you talk about should be on terminal 4 and the grey should be on terminal 2 which is the instrument light terminal.

 

do u know where that other terminal may be located at in the car
