Recently purchased my grandmas 1983 Coupe DeVille Mary Kay edition. Currently working on getting some official do***entation of it being a MK car. Yes, its pink, with a white top and white leather interior. As long as I put of drag racing and focus on this car, I have some extensive plans. Engine and body first, its still running at over 400K and never been rebuilt (4.1L v8)

 

WOW we gotta see pics of that one, there is so much bad press on the first generation 4.1's, that i can't even imagine any going to 400k even with a few rebuilds!, I have always loved this generation Cadillac styling, but most of us were WAY put off by that motor to even consider one now.. welcome to the group.. hey, what's the accent color on that car? the mary K's I've seen of that generation ( back when they were new) were all blue dash and carpet, is yours that too?

 

Accent color is White Leather interior with a white top. I know this car over the years has spent a lot of time getting fixed, which is why most of my family thinks I'm nuts for getting into it. Would like to go with a big cube 70s cadi motor, but still try to keep all the sensors and fun things that made it innovative. As of now it has major acceleration issues, probably from sitting for over 3 years and having critters of some sort living in the intake. Heres the best picture I have of it right now.
