i am looking for someone that can tell me where all the Vin tags are on my car. i know about the one on the door jamb on the back of the door. but there has got to be another tag some where. any help would be helpful. thanks

 

im not real sure, but is there one on dash, drivers side towards the front? or on that windshield pillar. just a guess

VIN tag should be on cowl in left front door jam, Fisher body plate is on firewall on drivers side. Why? Partial vin stamped in body and frame in several locations - law enforcement use hidden numbers to id stolen cars that have been retagged with different vin. Others may use to verify car is original

 

i am in the process or doing a restomod on the car and when i moved to indiana the car was redgesterd in mi and to transfer the title down here i need a cop to do a vin varifacation and they said that they have to verify it in two locations. nom the tag on the top of the cowlon drivers side is the body id tag right? you said in front door jamb left side is the vin tag, do you mean inside the door jamb like behind that panel that bolts in there or where?

 

Its a Classic Cadillac its under, on the frame where u cant find it
