Question Brake pad thickness warning sound

I have a 2003 Deville with original brake parts. Still operating smoothly. Should I depend low pad thickness alert sound before getting new brake pads. Also, should I replace or turn the rotors. I've read different opinions on this. I'm thinking just replace the pads on all four wheels and let the pads adjust to the old rotor. Opinions appreciated.

Yeah its a good ideas actually the issue is that you car is of old made and when you changed its pads so the new pads are heavy impact on it so its sound comes. So you thinking is well for this issue.I like it.
