Brake upgrade?
The brakes on my 98 DeVille seem weak though I have had a new brake job with new rotors and new pads.. The Ford brakes on our Windstar seem more powerful and effective! Is there an upgrade for this Cadillac for really effective brakes?
In reality, tires are the limiting factor in braking. Any vehicle should be able to either lock up the brakes (wheels) or induce anti-lock pulsing. The ONLY advantage "upgrading" brakes will do is possibly reduce heat buildup in the pads. That would delay how long it takes to get brake fade in severe conditions. As with most performance related issues, upgrading the driver's skill level is better than upgrading the car's hardware.

pulsating or not pulsating depends on the ABS .. the Bosch III ABS doesnt pulsate, most if not all other ABS systems do.
.
You should really putbreaks a high concern dude. Everybody should be sure to keep up with the condition of your brake pads. Your CTS brakes rely on friction, which is generated between your brake pads and your brake rotors. IMHO

Yup! I agree with you there! The Bosch III ABS doesnt pulsate. However, I think it is functionally similar to the Teves Mark 2.
